Elite Hoops Playset: SLOB Pacers Wheel

Posted by Anonymous | Wednesday, April 26, 2017 | Category: | 0 comments

If you are looking for a good sideline out of bounds play for a three towards the end of a game you are in the right place! This late game play run by the Pacers involved constant movement and gives the inbounder two options for open 3s late in the game. This setup can be used by players of all ages.

Play begins with P3 taking the ball out and everybody else lined up at the free throw line. P2 curls over the top of the line to the strong side corner while P1 trails back to the center of the paint. P4 and P5 then set a staggered screen for P1 to the top of the key for an open 3 pointer.

Elite Hoops Playset: Bulls False Motion

Posted by Anonymous | Wednesday, April 19, 2017 | Category: | 0 comments

Playoffs are here!!! The Chicago Bulls may be the 8th seed but they have hit the Celtics where it hurts and took the first two games in the Garden. Part of this success has come from the big play from superstars D Wade and Jimmy Butler, which are some things that can't be taught, but a lot of the success comes from plays such as the one below. This play gives the post options to pass to either wing or hit the 4 man for a slip to the basket for an easy lay.

Play begins with P1 passing to P4 and running off of an immediate dribble handoff. P1 then hits P5 at the pinch post. P1 and P4 then set down screens for P3 and P2 giving the big the choice of who to pass too.

Elite Hoops Playset: Mavs

Posted by Anonymous | Thursday, April 13, 2017 | Category: | 0 comments

The Dallas Mavericks have been in the news recently with Tony Romo getting recognized in their uniform and participating in walk through, but they have not been slacking on the playsets that they are putting in. This simple play is used at all levels of basketball and contains an odd action with the 4 man running off of a staggered screen. This forces guards to have to defend in a position that they are not used to being in.

Play begins with a pick and pop between P1 and P4. The ball is then passed to P3 while P4 runs off of a staggered screen from P2 and P5 looking for a short corner jumpshot.
