GAC won their first state championship in 33 years Saturday afternoon in Macon, GA. GAC defeated Thomasville 77-65 to finish the season 32-1 and undefeated in the state of Georgia. GAC's lone loss came at the hands of Tennessee powerhouse and #15 nationally ranked Melrose. The win gives Coach Eddie Martin his 4th State Championship in 5 years.
