On Friday, we wrapped up our first of three NIKE Boys Basketball Camps at Blessed Trinity this summer! Coach AJ Holland and Blessed Trinity Varsity Boys Basketball Coach, Patrick Hughes, lead the boys through a week of skill development and lots of fun. Through hard work and working well with their teammates, campers were able to develop individually and get 1% better each day. It was a great week at BT and the improvement shown throughout the week was impressive.


When we finally reached Championship Friday, the boys were eager to put their new skills to the test in a competitive manner. The excitement was contagious as they walked in the gym wearing their new camp t-shirts. But before champions were determined, campers went through individual skill stations to refine their game. This included individual skills drills, 3on3, and classroom sessions.


Then came the 5on5 championship roungs, which is overwelmingly the favorite part of camp. In between rounds, we held the Living by Numbers Championships. Each round consisted of 3 players from each dicision with the highest score in the specific drill. But, the intensity increased even more when we began the 3on3 Cut Throat Championships. Parents, campers, and coaches were astounded at the skill improvement over the course of a 5-day week.

To wrap up camp, we held the NIKE Awards Ceremony. Every camper recieved a camp t-shirt, workbook, player evaluations, and other prizes. Below is a list of Living by Numbers winners and individual winners. It was a great camp at Blessed Trinity and we cannot wait to be back in just a few short weeks!
