2017 NIKE Basketball Camp at Kedron Fieldhouse

This week we ventured to Peachtree City where we held an awesome week of camp at Kedron Fieldhouse! Coach AJ Holland led a great week of camp filled with skill development and lots of fun. The boys gave full effort in every drill and it was fun to be a part of such an energetic group. They also showed fantastic teamwork and had a lot of fun together. This was a very successful week and the players all improved over the course of the week!

On Championship Friday, everyone's favorite day of the week, the campers excitement filled the room with energy. You could see the anticipation on their faces when picking up their camp t-shirts. They were determined to show all that they have learned while being competitive and having fun. But before beginning the championships, players got to practice their new skills and knowledge one more time. They went through individual skills drills, 3on3, and classroom sessions.

Finally, it was time for the camp favorite 5on5 championship rounds. In between rounds, the top performers in 4 different Living by Numbers drills competed to determine our Living by Numbers champions. The intensity and excitement sky-rocketed when campers played in the 3on3 Cut Throat Championships and they got to showcase their improvement to all the coaches, parents, and fellow campers.

To end the week, we held out NIKE Awards Ceremony. Each camper received a packet with a workbook, player evaluations, and other prizes. Below is a list of Living by Numbers winners and individual winners. We had a great two weeks at Kedron Fieldhouse this summer and we cant wait to be back in Peachtree City in 2018!

2017 NIKE Boys Basketball CamoChampionship Friday at Discovery High School

This week we were at Discovery High NIKE Boys Basketball Camp for the second year in a row this summer, and we could not have had more fun! The campers at Discovery were a joy to have and this camp exceeded expectations. It was a SENSATIONAL week, we could not have asked for a better group of players, both on and off the court. The campers this week had GREAT energy on and off the court. By the end of camp this week, everyone knew everyone it felt almost like we were a family at Discovery. It was truly breathtaking to witness not only the talent of the group, but also the integrity and sportsmanship they displayed. Our fabulous coaching staff enjoyed working with each of the campers, helping them get 1% better each day! See you soon, Discovery!

Every exciting moment this week at the Discovery NIKE Boys Basketball Camp led up to Championship Thursday, which was nothing short of thrilling. Yes, Thursday we only had a four day camp at Discovery. This day is treasured by both staffers and campers, and everyone filed into the gym with an extra pep in his step that morning. Excitement written all over the players faces, and the energy in the room was almost tangible. We started off the day with Living By Numbers. Next we quickly jumped into our individual skills stations for a quick review. Each day the campers rotated between 3 different skill stations. Individual skills, 3on3, and classroom session helps teach all aspect of the game to the campers.

Now its championship time! The first championship round was 5on5 games. The NBA, College, and High school division championships were balanced throughout the week. Next was our Living By Numbers Championships. With so many returning campers, there was a lot of anticipation of who will be selected. The Living by Numbers(LBN) program online has been extremely beneficial to the campers. Lastly, the crowd favorite was 3on3 Cut Throat Championship. All week the campers have been earning points and learning different ways to be successful with their teams. Coaches, players, and parents enjoyed the intensity during the 3on3 games.

Championship Thursday ended with our NIKE Awards Ceremony. All the campers received camp T- shirts,workbooks, player evaluations, and various prizes. Below is the list of LBN winners and the photos of the individual winners.We are sad camp ended today :( , but we are more excited about the improvement of all campers. We can't wait to return to Discovery next year!

2017 NIKE Girls Basketball Camp: Championship Friday at St. Francis

This week at our NIKE Girls Basketball Camp at St. Francis, the campers reminded us of how important it is to have FUN while playing the game. Each and every day, they showed up with electrifying energy, radiant smiles, and a championship attitude ready to challenge themselves while improving tremendously in their individual skill sets.

Throughout this week, the NIKE Basketball Camp at St. Francis had exciting and great moments that all led up to a thrilling Championship Friday for staff and campers. That morning, the campers filed into the gym with an extra bounce in their step. Everyone's eyes reflected with eagerness and excitement for the fun activities ahead. The first item on the agenda was the Living By Numbers competitions followed by a quick review in individual skills stations. Each day the campers rotated between 3 different skill stations. Individual skills, 3on3, and classroom session to help teach all parts of the game to the campers, developing multi-faceted and knowledgeable players.

2017 NIKE Basketball Camp at Blessed Trinity (7/10-7/14)

This week, we completed our third and final week of NIKE Basketball Camp at Blessed trinity for the summer of 2017! The campers this week showed their desire to get better in every drill, game, and activity all week and it was truly amazing to be a part of. The coaches are grateful to every player for giving full effort every day and having good attitudes through it all. It has been such a pleasure to work with each of you!

After four long and hard days of skill work, Championship Friday is highly regarded as the best day of camp. You could tell the campers were excited when they came in and got their camp t-shirt, eager to start playing. The energy in the gym was electric as the campers warmed up and sized out the competition. But before beginning live play, they went through stations to brush up on all of the skills they learned throughout the week that could help them in their competitions. To touch on all aspects of the game, they went through individual skills, 3on3 , and classroom sessions.

After the skills review, the 5on5 championships began and our winners were crowned. In between rounds, we held our Living By Numbers Championships and determined our winners of 4 different drills. Then, the camp favorite "3on3 Cut Throat Championship" created even more excitement within the campers. Their improvement over a mere week was overwhelming and it goes to show that "hard work works".

To close Championship Friday, we held the NIKE Awards Ceremony. Every player received a camp t-shirt, workbooks, player evaluations, and other prizes.
