Elite Hoops Skills & Drills: In Paint Finishes

Finishing in the paint is one of the most important skills a player can have in their game. Having the ability to score with contact takes lots of practice and concentration. There are 3 main things to remember when finishing in the paint:

1. Get your eyes up early to see the target
2. Shield the defender away with your body (shoulders to the baseline)
3. Have balance and body control 
In our video below we discuss different types of finishes in the paint. Be sure to master each move then add defense.
