Elite Hoops Coach Lands Tough Opponent

The Belmont Abbey men's basketball team will open the 2009-10 season with an exhibition contest at the defending national champion North Carolina Tar Heels on Friday, November 6 at the Dean E. Smith Center in Chapel Hill. Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m.
The Abbey, coached by Stephen Miss, Elite Hoops Camp Coach and a 1992 graduate of UNC, finished 20-9 last season, its first 20-win season in six years, and will welcome back seven players, including two starters, guard Richard Barbee and forward Chad Patus.
