Day 2 of NIKE Basketball Camp at Brown County High School

On day 2 at NIKE/Elite Hoops Boys Basketball Camp at Brown County High School, coaches emphasized the importance of working hard to develop ballhandling skills. With the Living by Numbers drills today, players were given 5 drills to work on in the off-season to improve hand speed and hand quickness. The 5 drills were Figure 8 without a dribble, Figure 8 with a dribble, Flip Flop, Front Back Bounce, and Front Back Catch.

Every single player at camp competed in our Living by Numbers ballhandling drills in hopes of beating our camp records for each drill. Although, we had no one beat any of the records, it was great to see each player working hard and trying their very best to achieve a personal best for each drill! The hard work and determination that players showed today is exactly what coaches will be looking for when they are putting together teams in the fall, so if campers keep working this hard, they stand a pretty good chance of making whatever team they tryout for next season!

Check out the video of some of our campers working hard as they try to set new personal bests at their Living by Numbers Ballhandling drills! Great work guys!
